Festa do Senhor Santo Cristo at Our Lady of Fatima

June 16th & 17th – Festa do Senhor Santo Cristo
On the weekend of June 16th and 17th, Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish in Vancouver will be holding their Festa do Senhor Santo Cristo. On Saturday, the festa starts with the prayer of the rosary followed by the mass and a procession around the church. Then on Sunday, the first mass will be in English followed by a second mass in Portuguese and then the procession. Afterwards there will be a social in the church hall. Everyone is invited to attend and participate.
There will also be a special guest, Father Pedro Cabral from Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Açores. Let’s show him a warm welcome.
Please note that there will also be a Bazaar at the Festa and the church is currently accepting donations of new items for it. Please leave your donations with the Rectory.
Saturday, June 16th
5:30 pm Rosary
6:00 pm Mass in English and Portuguese (Missa em inglês e Portugês)
Mass Celebrated by Fr. Antonio Tapparello, CS and Fr. Pedro Cabral, OFM, of Ponta Delgada
Mass will be followed by a Procession/Procissão around the church and a social in the church hall.
Sunday, June 17th
10:00 am Mass in English (Missa em inglês)
12:00 pm Mass in Portuguese (Missa em Português)
Mass will be followed by a Procession/Procissão and social in the church hall.
