Festa Do Espirito Santo & 25th Anniversary
On the weekend of May 26 and 27th, the Amigos do Pico are holding their Festa Do Espirito Santo (Holy Ghost Spirit Feast) in Surrey at Our Lady of Good Counsel Hall. On the Saturday, there will be a rosary prayer at 7:00 pm followed by the blessing of the meat, bread and wine. Afterwards there will be dancing until midnight. On the Sunday, there will be a procession at 10:30 am followed by mass at 11:15 am which will be followed by another procession. At 1:00 pm food will be served including the Pico style Holy Spirit soup. Plus, this year the the Amigos do Pico group celebrates 25 years.
