Everyone is welcome at the 4th annual malassada festival. Come and enjoy or take home a fresh homemade malassada (a Portuguese doughnut). Pre-orders of malassadas are mandatory for orders of 6 or more. Proceeds go towards the Our Lady of Fatima festival in May and October. They thank you for your continued support. The annual Festa da Serra is being held at Our Lady of Sorrows on Saturday, February 22nd. This dinner and dance is a charity event. Money raised is sent back to the town Serra De Santo Antonio. The Portuguese Cultural Centre is having a Young Generation Party or Festa do Jovens. Every year the Centre organizes a dinner and dance fundraiser for the younger generation to come and experience Portuguese food and culture. There will be music and dancing.
