Your Chance to Win Tickets to the Vancouver International Wine Festival

This is the 40^th year for the Vancouver International Wine Festival which runs from February 24 to March 4.  It is one of the biggest and oldest wine events in the world and this year; there will be 173 wineries from 15 countries that will travel to Vancouver to pour and discuss their wines at 51 events over eight days. The heart of the festival is the International Festival Tastings at the Vancouver Convention Centre with other events taking place at various locations across the city.

Each year, this international festival shines the spotlight on one country or region and this year the festival will showcase wines from Spain and Portugal. The last time Portugal was represented was back in 2002, and they won’t return for another decade, so show your support this year by attending one of the many wine festival events taking place across Vancouver.

And to help you show your support, Portugal in Vancouver is excited to do a ticket giveaway on behalf of the Consulate General of Portugal to two events at the Vancouver International Wine Festival. Enter to win one of the two prizes listed below:

1st Place Winner receives two (2) tickets to Graham’s Port Dinner
Join Rupert Symington at Bodega on Main, in their newly renovated private dining room, for an unforgettable evening of Spanish cuisine by chef Maritza Orellana paired with Graham’s Port.

GIVEAWAY RULES

You must be a Canadian resident, able to attend the event and be 19 years of age or older. Winners will pick up their tickets at the office of the Consulate General of Portugal. Enter the ticket giveaway before 12:00 pm (noon) Saturday, February 24^th, 2018 for a chance to win.  Two names will be drawn after the cut-off day and time. Winners will be notified by either email or Facebook. Winners must be able to pick up their tickets at the office of the Consulate General of Portugal.
