Feast of Our Lady of Fatima in Vancouver
Due to the renovations taking place at the church this year, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima (Festa De Nossa Senhora De Fátima) festivities will be scaled back. The procession and celebrations will take place on the evening of Saturday, October 13th and will include traditional Portuguese food and socializing with family and friends. As usual, there will be Triduum during the masses in the days leading up to the festa. More event details are provided below.
Triduum: October 10, 11 & 12
Confessions before Masses, from 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm.
Triduum during Mass at 6:30 pm.
Saturday, October 13
Mass at 6:00 pm
Followed by a Candlelight Procession and then a social in the church hall with bifanas, filhós/malasadas and refreshments.
Sunday, October 14
8:30 am Mass
10:00 am Mass
11:30 am Mass for the sick (blessing will be given to the Blessed Sacrament to all the sick).
