I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for winter to be over and to welcome spring. I’m also ready to share with you all the events we have this month celebrating Portuguese products and people.

After all the holiday festivities and such a busy December, this month is going to be a little bit quieter. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any Portuguese things to do. So ease yourself into 2018 with some of these events.
On Sunday, January 28th there will be a Grupo Tradição da Ilha Terceira fundraiser for singer Tiago Claras at Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish. They will be selling galinha (chicken), carapau (grilled mackerel), and filhós (Portuguese doughnuts) to raise funds. Show your support and stop by the church hall to pick up some food to go.
