The Knights of Columbus are organizing a Blue Mass initiative to honour First Responders. Those being honoured fall into the categories of Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue, Medical/EMS as well as military and aid such as organizations like the Red Cross. If you know of anyone who is a First Responder, please invite them to attend this mass in uniform and scrubs in honour of their services for preserving and saving lives. The Knights are looking forward to repeating the ambient sound and spectacle of last year that surely enlightened our community spirit and appreciation in recognizing the efforts of these brave men and women.

Friday Lunches at PCSF

Portuguese Canadian Seniors Foundation's SealHave Lunch Every Friday at PCSF

If you’d like to enjoy some Portuguese cuisine, then you should definitely make a trip to the Portuguese Canadian Seniors Foundation (PCSF) for one of their Friday lunches. PCSF volunteers prepare and serve lunch every Friday for its members. However, non-members are welcome. It is a full lunch that starts with homemade soup and green salad, followed by a typical Portuguese dish and ends with dessert, coffee and tea.
