The Portuguese Cultural Centre is having a Young Generation Party or Festa do Jovens. Every year the Centre organizes a dinner and dance fundraiser for the younger generation to come and experience Portuguese food and culture. There will be music and dancing. Don’t you love being Portuguese? This month is jam-packed with events and activities to celebrate our culture. There are so many Portuguese things to do that there is something for everyone.
There are festas, lunches, dinners & dances, a Carnaval up in Kitimat, a Portuguese book club, a Family Fun Day in Victoria, and even a couple of Super Bowl parties. Every weekend you have something to do.
No matter how you spend your time this month, I hope that you spend a little bit of it showing how much you love being Portuguese.
