Looking for Portuguese Things To Do this March? 🇵🇹✨ I’ve rounded up some great events to check out! Be sure to visit often as I’m always adding new happenings. Plus, there are a couple of exciting events for April already on the calendar, so you can plan ahead.

RECURRING EVENTS:
MONDAYS – SATURDAYS:
Luso Canadian Association – Located in Kitimat, they are open from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm from Monday to Saturday. Closed all Stat Holidays.
FRIDAYS:
Luso Canadian Association – Located in Kitimat, they serve dinner every Friday night in their Luso Lounge. Reservations are required.
Portuguese Cultural Centre of BC – Located in Burnaby, they have been serving a delicious hot lunch every Friday for years now. There are also games and sports on their many TVs. All are welcome to attend.
SUNDAYS:
Luso Canadian Portuguese Club – Located in Penticton, their doors are open every Sunday at 2:00 pm . Note that due to renovations, they are currently not serving dinner, but will have drinks and pastéis de nata available. They also have board games for all ages to enjoy. They will need
Portuguese Canadian Cultural Society of Osoyoos – Open every Sunday (except for stat holidays) from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. They offer bifanas, cerveja, and tremoços. All are welcome.

NEW EVENT – MARCH 13, 2026 – A member of the Portuguese Cultural Society of Prince George, Gil Botelho, is starring in the thriller-horror film “Hypnonaut.”
MARCH 14, 2026 – Third Annual Family Fun Night at Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish in Vancouver.
MARCH 14, 2026 – Festa da Primavera / Spring Dinner Dance at the Portuguese Cultural Centre of BC in Burnaby. Details to come.
MARCH 15, 2026 – St. Joseph Festival at Our Lady of Fatima in Victoria.
NEW EVENT – MARCH 22, 2026 – Deadline Extended! Apply now for the 2026 FPCBP Student Scholarship Awards.
NEW EVENT – MARCH 23, 2026 – Nata Fundraiser for the Rancho Folclorico Cruz de Cristo.
NEW EVENT – MARCH 29, 2026 – Portuguese Food Fundraiser hosted by the Ladies Filhós Group at Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish in Vancouver. Place your orders by March 26, 2026.
NEW EVENT – MARCH 31, 2026 – Presentation by writer and playwright Elaine Ávila on fado, symbol of Portuguese identity at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

APRIL 11, 2026 – The Rancho Folclorico Cruz de Cristo is holding their Annual Pub Night at the Thirsty Duck in New Westminster.
APRIL 18, 2026 – Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese School Dinner & Dance Fundraiser. Details to come.
MAY 9, 2026 – Dinner & Dance at at the Irmandade do Divino Espirito Santo in Surrey.
