On Sunday, January 28th there will be a Grupo Tradição da Ilha Terceira fundraiser for singer Tiago Claras at Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish. They will be selling galinha (chicken), carapau (grilled mackerel), and filhós (Portuguese doughnuts) to raise funds. Show your support and stop by the church hall to pick up some food to go. The next meeting with the European Union Book Club, moderated by Sandy Gualdino, will be with the Portuguese novel: “The Double” (O Homem Duplicado) by José Saramago.
