I hope you have been enjoying your summer so far. Can you believe it is August already?! This is the month where most of the non-profits and their volunteers take a well deserved break from hosting events which means there are very few Portuguese Things To Do for August 2024. Luso Canadian Association – Located in Kitimat, they are open from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.
FRIDAYS
Luso Canadian Association – Located in Kitimat, they serve dinner every Friday night in their Luso Lounge. Reservations are required.
Luso Canadian Portuguese Club – Located in Penticton, their doors are open every Sunday at 2:00 pm with dinner served at 5:00 pm (please RSVP). They also have board games for all ages to enjoy.
Summer is in full swing which also means Portuguese events are starting to wind down. This short break allows all the amazing volunteers to rest and recharge after a couple of busy months. June is Portuguese Heritage Month and Canadians across the country will be celebrating what it means to be Portuguese. Here in BC is no exception.
