We’re heading towards the holiday season, which is also the giving season. This month there are a couple of opportunities to donate to some great charities. There’s the “A Gift of Jules” fundraiser for childhood cancer and the Knights of Columbus Warm Clothing Collection.Click on the links here or in the list below to learn more about them and how you can help.

The Portuguese film Saint George / São Jorge will be shown at the European Union Film Festival (Vancouver) at The Cinematheque.
