The Knights of Columbus present the Jorge Ferreira Dinner & Dance on the evening of Saturday, May 27th at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Hall. The Knights of Columbus are a non-profit organization, and funds raised will help the community.  Enjoy a performance from one of your favourite Pimba singers while partaking in a buffet dinner which includes dessert!

Jorge Ferreira is a popular Portuguese singer who was born in São Miguel and at a young age moved to the USA with his family.  He has always been interested in music. While living in São Miguel he was part of a local marching band and when he moved to America, he joined a musical group and performed in clubs and church halls singing songs in both Portuguese and English.  His popularity grew quickly over the years and he has now toured to over 16 countries and has been invited to sing the Portuguese national anthem at a number of world championships for Portuguese soccer teams when playing in the USA. He will be in Vancouver tomorrow (Saturday, May 27th) and it’s one concert you don’t want to miss. Tickets are selling fast. Get yours before they’re gone.
