This event is to celebrate and HONOUR all the first responders that risk their lives every day and for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The Knights of Columbus of Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish in Vancouver invite all Police, Peace Officers, Paramedics, Nurses, Firefighters, 911 Dispatchers, Military and Disaster AID personnel from all open communities in the lower mainland to celebrate with the Knights of Columbus and parishioners in God’s blessing. On Sunday, April 22nd, Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish Catechism Program (P.R.E.P.) is showing the movie “Moana” after mass. This is a by-donation fundraising event to support the Holy Childhood Association; a Catholic organization that helps various children across Africa (a strongly supported initiative for many years by this P.R.E.P. group of the Parish) and is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. After the 10:00 am mass on Sunday, head on down to the church hall to show your support, make a donation, and enjoy a family-friendly movie. There will also be complimentary pizza and drinks being served.
