Festa das BeirasThe Portuguese Canadian Seniors Foundation is having a Festa das Beiras to celebrate the Beiras region (province). “It borders the North with the Douro Litoral , the East with Beira Alta and Beira Baixa, the Southeast with Ribatejo, the Southwest with Estremadura and the West with the Atlantic Ocean. It is made up of 38 municipalities, comprising most of the districts of Aveiro and Coimbra, half of the district of Leiria, and a municipality of the district of Santarém.
